Meet the Team!

With the support of the West Ashley Gymnastics staff and parents, Charleston Meets is able to bring these events to life. We are truly grateful, none of this would be possible without you!

Randy Parrish

Randy Parrish has been hosting gymnastics meets since 1985 and continues to bring passion and energy to every event he directs.

His first meets, known as the Pepsi Invitational (1985–1999) in Quincy, Illinois, were proudly sponsored by Pepsi and became a beloved tradition in the Midwest gymnastics community. From 2000 to 2006, Randy partnered with Olympian John Macready to host the John Macready March of Dimes Invitational, also held in Quincy. This event brought together eight Olympians who signed autographs, presented awards, and helped raise an incredible $100,000 for the March of Dimes — including $30,000 in a single year.

In 2015, Randy, along with Becky Parrish and Valerie Snow, launched the Palmetto Patriots Classic in Charleston, South Carolina. This meet continues to thrive and has raised over $60,000 to support homeless and struggling veterans across the Lowcountry.

Today, Randy serves as Meet Director for numerous state and regional competitions and brings his trademark enthusiasm as an awards announcer at more than 15 meets each year across the Carolinas, Missouri, Michigan, Louisiana, Massachusetts, and Illinois.

Your partnership helps us create memorable meets that bring athletes, coaches, and communities together here in Charleston.
